 DOCTOR NICHOLAS F. AMICO D.C., CCSP
Dr. Nicholas F. Amico received his Doctor of Chiropractic from the National University of Health Sciences in Chicago, Illinois. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Human Anatomy from the National College of Chiropractic. He specializes in the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions allowing patients to take an active role in their treatment and rehabilitation. Dr. Amico is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician from the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians. He is certified in Active Release Techniques for the Spine and Upper and Lower Extremities and is a certified practitioner of Graston Techniques.
Dr. Amico has lectured to personal trainers, triathletes, and many other professional and amateur athletes on such topics as the benefits of correct postural balances, proper training techniques and injury prevention and treatment. His medical staff appointments include The NYC Marathon, NYC Triathlon, Manhattan Classic Gymnastics Competition and the Nassau County Wrestling championships.
Dr. Amico is an avid sports fan who enjoys running, hiking, golf and participating in triathlons.
