Hip Flexor Strain

This condition is usually experienced as a pinching sensation when the patient tries to pull the knee up to the chest. The patient may experience pain when he or she is running or participating in various kinds of aerobic exercise. If left untreated, this condition can lead to marked strains of the lower back region.

Doctor's Treatment Plan
The doctor uses a number of therapeutic procedures to alleviate pain to the area of the hip and upper thigh. Treatment consists of a series of stretching exercises designed to reduce strain and eventually strengthen the affected muscles.
