Dr. Deepa Gulrajani received her Doctor of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, NY. She obtained a Bachelors degree in Exercise Science and Wellness Management from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia and has completed her Master’s program in Human Anatomy and Physiology Instruction.
Dr. Gulrajani completed the clinical phase of her education as a resident at South Shore Neurologic Associates, a multi-disciplinary practice in Riverhead, NY. Working alongside Neurologists, Physical Therapists, a Nurse Practitioner and Acupuncturist, she became interested in pain management and neurology, learning where chiropractic is best suited in a co-management model of healthcare. She then decided to pursue, through the American Chiropractic Neurology Board, a diplomate program in which she is currently enrolled.
She is certified in McKenzie Technique for the lumbar spine, functional movement techniques (Rocktape), FAKTR (Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehab), and full spine certified through the Motion Palpation Institute.
Dr. Gulrajani is a proud member of the American Chiropractic Association (ACA), the Association of New Jersey Chiropractors (ANJC), the New York State Chiropractic Association (NYSCA), ACA Sports Council, and the New Jersey Chiropractic Council on Sports Injuries & Rehabilitation. She has volunteered at the 2015 Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes and assisted as a part of the medical staff for the 2015 Stand-Up Paddle race around Manhattan.
