TMJ Headaches

TMJ headaches are characterized by popping and clicking of the jaw and ringing in the ears. A generalized pain in the face and ears is also commonplace, as well as a deep aching sensation that seems to surround the skull.

Doctor’s Treatment Plan
The treatment consists of a series of specific in-office stretching, as well as a series of home stretching exercises. We use a wide range of physiotherapies, including ultrasound, myofascial release therapy, fluormethane spray and stretch, and spinal manipulative therapies, which are all incorporated into the treatment regimen.

Note: It should always be considered that not all injuries are spinal related, and therefore not all injuries can be fully corrected with the benefit of chiropractic medicine. Further, the injury profiles and recommendations for treatment should in no way be used as a substitute for the care of a physician.
